Fall in Love with your SKIN

Our skin is the largest organ in the body and its important to look after it from the inside out. Nobody can have perfect skin all the time. Stress, hormones, lifestyle, climate and diet all affect and play havoc with our skin. Here are some tips below on getting you to love your skin...


The skincare routine everyone should be doing:


  • Cleanse x2 day with a cream or gel base cleanser. Leave on skin for atleast 1 min before washing off. Nothing works into the skin if its not cleansed.
  • Tone after cleansing with a gentle hydrating cleanser. Prepares skin absorption for the next products.
  • Serum (most powerful product) Use x2 day. Serums penetrate the deepest into the skin so they are a must have for everyone. Choose one depending on your skin type.
  • Eyecare x2 day either a gel or cream one depending on skin type. Only apply around the orbital bone, with ring finger.
  • Moisturise x2 day. Always use a richer cream in the winter months.
  • SPF only in the AM. Everyday, all year round. Spf acts as a barrier on the skin, protecting it from everything that could attack our skin cells such as uv rays, pollution, car fumes, smoke etc. 


Treat yourself to regular facials:


If you can afford to go out most weekends clubbing or for dinner you can afford a facial every few months. Find yourself a good skin therapist and visit her when you can to have your skin analysed, extracted, massaged, hydrated and well looked after. You will thank yourself in a few years.

Eat well for your skin:


  • Add lots of colorful veggies to all your meals especially green veg and carrots. Try to eat raw veg as snacks.
  • Try to make juices or smoothies a few times in the week.
  • Try to cut down on dairy in your diet as this can be linked with a lot of skin problems.
  • Drink 2 liters of water a day
  • Increase intake on nuts and seeds, add them to your lunches or dinner.
