Happy Wednesday All!

Today learn to Speed up your metabolism. Feel better. Look better. The healthy and safe way.

Your Metabolism is the rate in which your body burns calories. Very few people have a fast metabolism. A faster metabolism will enable you to loose weight quicker than someone who may be the same weight, activity and diet than you.



Tips in how to speed yours up Starting TODAY!!!

Firstly Exercise and Sleep are the 2 most important things to do, and we all know this. If you have been out of routine for some time, it will take some time to get back into a good sleeping pattern and exercising regularly.   

Below is a list of Foods that you can include into your Diet to help your metabolism. 

1.Hot Peppers
Spicy peppers directly boost your metabolism and circulation. It also reduces food cravings.(Eg Jalapeno, habanero)

2. Whole Grains
These are full of nutrients and complex carbohydrates that speed up your metabolism by stabilising our insulin levels. (Eg. Oatmeal, brown rice,and quinoa)

3. Broccoli
High in Calcium, vitamin C, K, and A. One serving will also provide you with plenty of folate and dietary fibre. Broccoli is one the best detox foods you can add to your diet.

4.Soups
Liquid goodness are an appetite reducing combination of liquids and solids. Speeding up your metabolism and burning fat.

5. Green Tea
Rich in antioxidants that fight harmful free radicals. Through multiple scientific facts green tea boosts metabolism aswell as providing other health benefits.

6.Apples & Pears
Both of these fruits are known to speed up weight loss aswell as your metabolism. 

7. Spices
From garlic to cinnamon, spices are great to keep your metabolic rate high. Use daily in your meals. 

8. Citrus fruits 
Vitamin C fruits such as Oranges and watermelon, reduces insulin in the body aswell as helps burn fat and keeping our metabolism high.

9. Purified Water
Natural appetite suppressant, detoxifier, and speeds up fat burning in the body. 

10. Greek/ Organic Yogurt
Full of Calcium, very good for energy And regulating your digestive tract.

Everybody is different and has different needs. Try and include these foods into your diet as best you can for your lifestyle. It is best to eat little meals, but often. This helps keep your metabolism going. Not giving your body enough food will make it deprived and your metabolism will slow down.

What to Avoid;

Long waits between meals.
Adding too much sugar to food. 
Adding too much salt (reduces swelling and bloating and blood pressure)
Sugar drinks
Energy drinks
Processed food
